What is GSTIN?

GSTIN (Goods and Services Tax Identification Number) is a unique 15-character alphanumeric code assigned to every registered taxpayer in India. It consists of: 2-digit state code, 10-character PAN, 1-character entity number, 1 default character (Z), and 1 check digit.
