Aadevo Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Aadevo", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users ("you" or "your"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our GST accounting software, website, desktop applications, and mobile applications (collectively, the "Services").

1. Information We Collect

Personal Information

When you register for an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, GSTIN, and billing address. This information is necessary to provide our accounting services and ensure GST compliance.

Business Data

In the course of using our Services, you may input financial data including invoices, journal entries, payment records, inventory data, party details, and bank transaction information. This data is stored securely and belongs to you.

Automatically Collected Information

We automatically collect device information, IP addresses, browser type, operating system, usage patterns, and error logs to improve our Services and provide technical support. On our desktop and mobile apps, we collect device identifiers for device authorization and security purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • •To process transactions, send invoices, and manage your subscription and billing.
  • •To sync your data securely across your devices (web, desktop, and mobile).
  • •To send important service notifications, security alerts, and product updates.

  • •To comply with legal obligations, including GST regulations and tax reporting requirements.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with 256-bit encryption at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard security measures including TLS/SSL encryption, HMAC-signed sync payloads, role-based access controls, and regular security audits.

Our offline-first architecture stores data locally on your device using encrypted IndexedDB (web) or SQLite (desktop and mobile) databases. This local data is synchronized with our servers when a connection is available. You maintain full access to your data even without internet connectivity.

We perform automated daily backups of all server-side data. Backup data is encrypted and stored in geographically separate locations within India.

4. Third-Party Services

We may share limited information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our Services:

  • •Payment Processing: Razorpay for subscription payments. We do not store your credit card or bank details.
  • •GST Portal: Data is transmitted to the Government of India GST Network (GSTN) for e-invoice generation, e-way bills, and return filing at your explicit request.
  • •Communication: WhatsApp Business API and email service providers for invoice delivery and payment reminders, only when you choose to use these features.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or business data to any third party for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Cookies

Our website and web application use essential cookies and local storage to maintain your session, remember your preferences (such as theme settings), and ensure the security of your account. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising. Analytics cookies, if used, collect only aggregated and anonymized usage data to help us improve our Services.

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • •Access: Request a copy of all personal and business data we hold about you.
  • •Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
  • •Export: Export your financial data in standard formats (CSV, Excel, JSON) at any time from within the application.
  • •Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • •Objection: Object to certain processing of your data where we rely on legitimate interests.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our Services. If you request account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Under Indian tax and GST regulations, we may be required to retain certain financial records (invoices, tax filings, transaction logs) for a minimum of 6 years from the relevant financial year. Such data will be securely archived and deleted once the retention period expires.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on our website and sending an email to your registered address at least 15 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
